It's getting close to the end of the school year, again! How did that come so quickly? I say it every year, but really, this year, has zoomed by. Even though it's only October schools start finishing from the end of November so time again to start thinking about gifts for teachers.
I know that most teachers don't expect a gift but they do such an amazing job educating our children that they more than deserve one, do you agree? It takes a very special person to dedicate their life to teaching the young!
Do you like to give a gift from just your child or go in on group presents? I've picked out a selection of both with a wide range of budgets plus, as I love to spend hours down the Pinterest rabbit hole, some cute DIY ideas too.
I have a friend who's tradition is to give teachers Christmas decorations, they are always used and it's with the hope that the teacher remembers the child each year when they hang it on their tree. No guarantees of whether they are happy memories but memories all the same!
Find the tutorial for this an lots of other homemade Christmas ornaments here, I'm definitely going to try this tree one.
Gift Vouchers are great for a day spa, shop, shopping centre, movies, books, or magazine subscriptions. We have our gorgeous Stationery Subscription Club that is like a gift that keeps on giving through out the year (of course I'm doing gratuitous self promotion!) that makes a lovely gift too.
At a lot of schools teachers have to provide their own cups/mugs/water bottles (I know!?) we can help out there with a range of gifts like all of these (see our Teachers Gift Collection) for all the details
or a personalised mug is cute too that you could fill with a selection of teas or coffee.
Plants make lovely gifts, we have gone for succulents this year in our gift boxes
or I like this DIY succulent garden idea
For a bit of a giggle but always with style we have curated these two gift boxes both with a candle & nail polish says either " Tonight's Forecast: 99% Chance of Wine" & "I've got 99 problems but nails ain't one of them"! Cute ha?
A beach bag or towel is a nice idea or something for the holidays. Our Totes Beachy gift set is one of my favourites.
I think more than anything though a teacher would love a hand written note from the child (& probably you too) just thanking them for the year.
For our entire Teachers Gift range pop in here, our Thank you range is here and our Christmas Collection is here. We ship Australia wide so no reason not to pop on in and take a look wherever you in the country.
Do you have any Teacher Gift traditions? Do you like to DIY or outsource? Individual or group gifts?
